Rock Band "h is orange" Plays Warped Tour, Releases First CD, Debuts Music Video on VTV

Rock band "h is orange" is debuting a live CD, premiering a music video and doing two shows in hot LA clubs. And that's just this week. In July, they hit the Warped Tour.

Los Angeles, CA February 6, 2004 Rock band "h is orange" is everywhere this month. They are bringing out their debut, live, full-length CD, "Don't Trust the Easy" on One Iron Records on February 10th, with a debut party performance at the Alterknit Lounge (Knitting Factory) on Friday, February 6th. Their music video for the song "When I Fall" will debut on Vegas TV on Sunday the 8th and they'll do a follow-up performance at the Viper Room on Thursday, the 12th. They're also looking forward to July 1st, when they play the San Diego stop of the Warped Tour.

The music video was produced by Allen Haren and Matt Midura via digital video recorded at the live performance at The Mint back in September. It will be featured on VTV, a brand new channel on the Dish Network reaching a global audience of 22 million. "Everyone here is really excited about the video, and we're thrilled to have it debut on the first week of VTV," said VTV producer Narumi Inatsugu.

The CD will be available through distributors CDBaby and TowerRecords.com. The CD is enhanced with the "When I Fall" music video and the CD's name well reflects the journey to get it finished, as obstacle after obstacle delayed it's arrival. One Iron Records got the final CDs in its hands just a day before the CD release party.

Other notice for the band came for the band this month on the demodiaries.com website. This well-respected site, popular among industry A&R folks for its accurate leads on new artists, featured h is orange and a download of "The Thrill of Escape" on January 28th. Demo Diaries owner Gary Savelson compares the "h is orange" sound to bands like U2 and Sunny Day Real Estate. Purevolume.com, the new site currently replacing the role mp3.com used to fill, has also added "h is orange" information, photos and music downloads to its pages.

The band isn't resting on this week's accomplishments, however. They plan to bring out an acoustic album and go on tour through the Pacific Northwest before playing the Warped Tour stop in July.
